A manual dicer, slicer and grater from Ganesh, with a clear container. Set a dicing tray in the frame, place the food on the grid and press the hinged lid down: a comb under the lid pushes the food through the metal grid into the container below. It is hand operated, with no plug or battery.
"14 in 1" is part of Ganesh's model name. The pieces in the box are listed below.
What it does
- Dices: two dicing trays fit the frame one at a time, with four cutting grids between them in different sizes and patterns, one of them a cross-shaped blade.
- Slices: the slicer board holds one insert at a time, and two of the inserts carry a single straight blade.
- Cuts strips: one insert has small raised cutters.
- Grates: three grater inserts for the board (two metal, one plastic), plus a separate white hand grater.
- Peels: the hand grater has a peeler blade at one end.
In the box (as shown): 13 pieces. A clear container; the lid and frame (green hinged lid with a round button on a white panel, and a white handle); 2 dicing trays; a slicer board; 6 board inserts (2 straight blades, 1 strip cutter, 2 metal graters, 1 plastic grater); a round food holder; a hand grater with a peeler. Colour as shown: green and white, clear container.
Care: Hand wash. Take extra care with the blades when washing.
Safety: The blades, grids, grater plates and peeler are very sharp. Hold the dicing trays, board inserts and hand grater by their plastic frames, never by the metal. Use the round food holder when slicing or grating on the board, and keep your fingers clear of the grid when you press the lid down. Check the dicing tray is seated in the frame, or the insert in the board, before use. Keep out of reach of children.
