Six painted Christmas ornaments in a Scandi folk style, in burnt orange, dusty grey, mustard yellow, blush pink and cream. The set mixes a white goose figure with an orange beak, yellow feet and a jute scarf, a flat six-pointed star with blue snowflake detail, and four rounded baubles: one orange with teal teardrops, two in charcoal grey and mustard, and one with a pink cap over a cream and mustard geometric pattern.
- Made by hand from clay and paper (papier mâché), so each piece varies slightly in shape, size and brushwork.
- All six pieces hang from twisted natural jute loops.
- Hang them on the tree, line them up on a mantelpiece or windowsill, or arrange them in a bowl with greenery.
- Keep them away from moisture and store each piece wrapped in tissue paper between seasons.

Looking after it

How do they hang?
Where this piece has a hanging loop, hang it from a branch or a hook. Where it is made to stand, put it on a shelf or table. The Hanging line under Materials & care says which, where we have filled it in. Keep it indoors, well away from candles, open flame, heaters and hot bulbs. If you are unsure, ask us before you order.

Are they for indoors only?
Yes. Keep them indoors and dry. They are not for outdoor use, damp rooms or anywhere water can reach them.

How should I store them?
Wrap each piece in tissue and store it in a rigid box so nothing presses on it. Keep the box somewhere dry, inside the heated part of the house rather than a loft, garage or shed.

Are they toys?
No. They are decorations, not toys. Keep them out of reach of young children and pets.

Will mine look exactly like the photographs?
Close, but not identical. Each piece is made by hand, so small differences from one to the next are normal. Screens and room lighting shift colour too, so yours may read a shade warmer or cooler at home.
