A set of six painted paper mâché Christmas decorations in a folk-art style: five round baubles and one flat eight-pointed star. The designs are red and white candy stripes, pink chevrons on sand, coral and green floral scrollwork on white, orange and yellow flowers on cream, a blue, yellow and white folk flower on deep red, and a white and pink star.
- Made by hand from clay and paper, so brushwork, colour and size vary slightly from piece to piece.
- Every piece comes with a natural jute or twisted cord hanging loop attached.
- Hang them on the tree, tuck a few into a wreath, or group them in a bowl on a bed of pine sprigs.
- For indoor use only. Paper mâché is delicate and not waterproof, so handle it with care and keep it dry.
- Store each piece wrapped in tissue paper in a dry box between seasons.

How do they hang?
Where this piece has a hanging loop, hang it from a branch or a hook. Where it is made to stand, put it on a shelf or table. The Hanging line under Materials & care says which, where we have filled it in. Keep it indoors, well away from candles, open flame, heaters and hot bulbs. If you are unsure, ask us before you order.

Are they for indoors only?
Yes. Keep them indoors and dry. They are not for outdoor use, damp rooms or anywhere water can reach them.

How should I store them?
Wrap each piece in tissue and store it in a rigid box so nothing presses on it. Keep the box somewhere dry, inside the heated part of the house rather than a loft, garage or shed.

Are they toys?
No. They are decorations, not toys. Keep them out of reach of young children and pets.

Will mine look exactly like the photographs?
Close, but not identical. Each piece is made by hand, so small differences from one to the next are normal. Screens and room lighting shift colour too, so yours may read a shade warmer or cooler at home.
